The George Washington High School JROTC program is conducting a Continuous Improvement Plan for the school year of 2017-2018 to improve overall inspection scores for school year 2018-2019's JROTC Program for Accreditation. The CIP will go from the 29th of January to the 4th of May. The goal for the end of the period is to have an average of 90% between the whole GWHS JROTC program.

As an incentive to increase scores, individual cadets will be able to receive a PT exemption for two consecutive 90%+ scores, the company with the highest average for the month will receive the Cadet Commendation Ribbon (N-3-9), and all companies with an average of 90% or higher each month will receive a pizza, bagel, doughnut, or burrito party. Though only cadets that are nominated by their company commanders are eligible for the ribbon.

The three monthly periods for the CIP are as follows.

30 JAN - 13 FEB - First Month Inspection Score Evaluations

27 FEB - 13 MAR- Second Month Inspection Evaluations

20 MAR - 17 APR - Third Month Inspection Evaluations

24 APR - 1 MAY - Flex Weeks ( Makeup Inspection Weeks)
